Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and the bottle has dried is it ready for reuse.

Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and letting it dry. After drying, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface with an alcohol solution (for example IPA or ethanol), which is left to evaporate. Such a procedure minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and helps to maintain the quality of the final product.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the local rules for waste sorting. The glass part can usually be placed in the container intended for glass after you remove any remaining contents and the separate plastic or metal components of the closure. Sort these components according to the material type indicated in the product parameters. Before handing over for collection, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging in order to minimize odours and contamination of other waste.

Glass is generally a very stable and inert packaging material, so it is suitable also for oil elixirs, aromatic oil blends or serums with a higher concentration of active substances. For very specific formulations, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling in a smaller quantity and monitoring the behaviour of the product over time (colour, fragrance, any sediment) to confirm complete compatibility of the contents with the packaging and the type of dispensing used.

When choosing the closure, it is important to check the compatibility of the neck type and to ensure that the selected closure or dispenser allows comfortable application of the specific texture (liquid, oily, thicker gel-like). We recommend always testing the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the closure with your formulation under the conditions in which the product will actually be used (temperature, frequency of opening, transport).
