Glass bottle in a black glossy finish with a ribbed tamper-evident cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling sensitive liquid formulations, serums, oils and other preparations where both protection of the contents and an aesthetic appearance are important. High-quality glass in combination with the safety cap helps maintain product stability and minimizes the risk of accidental opening during storage or transport.
The dark version of the glass container provides increased protection against light, which is especially advantageous for products with light-sensitive active ingredients. The smooth, representative surface of the bottle is suitable for additional marking, labelling or printing according to your brand’s visual identity, thereby creating a coherent and professional impression of the final product.
Bottles from this range are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dark version of the glass bottle helps reduce light penetration to the contents, which is an advantage for products with light-sensitive components such as certain vegetable oils or more complex cosmetic formulations. For very sensitive active ingredients, however, we recommend, in addition to suitable packaging, also ensuring proper storage according to the raw material manufacturer’s recommendations (for example protecting the product from direct sunlight and higher temperatures).
The glass packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is essential to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of the stability of the new formulation being affected by residues of the previous contents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass bottle can generally, after being emptied and basically cleaned, be placed in the container intended for glass, while the cap is usually sorted separately according to its material. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove product residues in order to facilitate the recycling process and reduce the risk of contamination of other waste.
When selecting a closure, base your choice on the nature of your formulation and the desired mode of application. For oil-based and concentrated products, droppers or precise applicators are suitable; for watery solutions, you will appreciate fine dosing or a spray, and for thicker preparations a classic screw cap may be practical. On Handymade, compatible types of closures are listed directly with the products, but for every new combination we recommend performing your own test of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
To make it easier to select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can narrow down the selection according to several parameters, such as the type and size of the neck, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. This way, you can quickly find a bottle, jar or pot that will meet the technical requirements of your formulation as well as the visual style of your brand.
