Glass bottle with dropper represents a reliable packaging solution for cosmetic formulations, serums, oils and concentrated solutions where precise and controlled drop-by-drop dosing is required. Thanks to the durable glass and the practical dropper closure, it is suitable for filling liquid preparations that require clean, hygienic and comfortable use in everyday care.
The opaque, dark glass of the bottle naturally helps to minimise light exposure to the sensitive contents, thereby supporting stability and extending the usability of products that tend to deteriorate when exposed to light. The packaging is designed to complement the professional appearance of finished products while providing reliable protection for their composition.
This glass bottle is supplied with a practical dropper closure, while the bottles themselves are listed on Handymade as packaging that is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters – for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally considered a very stable and inert packaging material, so it is suitable for products containing essential oils, fragrance compositions or concentrated active ingredients. However, when creating your own formulations, we recommend always performing a trial filling and a short-term stress test to verify the behaviour of the specific formulation in contact with the packaging and the dropper (for example the viscosity during dosing and the long-term stability).
The packaging can be reused provided that proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or transfer of fragrance or colour from the previous contents. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the range as products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely before filling with a new product.
Before reuse, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle – rinsing it with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, and using a brush if necessary to thoroughly remove product residues. Then rinse the packaging with clean water, allow it to drain and dry. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface of the bottle and the parts of the dropper with alcohol (for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). Allow the disinfectant to evaporate completely before refilling the packaging so that you do not affect the composition of the finished product.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend placing it in the separate waste collection system according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle itself is usually placed in the container designated for glass once you have removed any remaining contents. The dropper closure is typically made of a combination of materials (for example plastic, rubber and possibly metal components), so it is advisable, where possible, to separate it from the glass and sort it according to local recycling rules. Before disposing of it in separate collection, we recommend rinsing the packaging so that no strongly aromatic or greasy residues remain in the waste.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging material category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, vials, jars or dispensers), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. Using the filter, you can clearly select packaging according to several parameters – specifically according to neck type, size, colour and material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the range to the packaging that best matches the intended use, design and technical requirements of your product.
