Is this glass bottle also suitable for oil-based or alcohol-based solutions?

The glass container is in general a very stable and inert packaging material, which makes it suitable also for preparations based on oils or for alcohol solutions. When using more viscous oil blends, however, it is important to test whether the specific viscosity and composition are suitable for the given sprayer and provide an even mist without clogging. Before including it in sales or regular practice, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and monitoring the behaviour of the product during use and storage.

Can this bottle be used repeatedly and how should it be cleaned properly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially if it remains intended for the same type of product. Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and airing of the internal space of the packaging is it suitable to proceed with refilling.

How should the glass bottle and sprayer be properly recycled if I do not want to use them further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle can be placed in the container intended for glass sorting. The sprayer is usually made of plastic components and it may be necessary to separate it from the glass; we recommend following local rules for plastic collection and the information in the product parameter table. By separating the individual materials you contribute to a more efficient recycling process.
