TEGO Care 450 (Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate) is a plant-derived emulsifier suitable for O/W cream and emulsion formulations, it is PEG-free.
It has excellent moisturizing properties, promotes water resistance. It has a softening effect on the skin and promotes skin hydration.

Tego Care 450 is stable in the pH range 4.5-8.5.

Using this emulsifier you can make e.g. a soothing day cream for older skin, a serum for ageing skin, a sunscreen (where it helps to increase the resistance of sun filters to water).

Application: 2-3% for lotions and lotions, 3% for creams

Creams based on TEGO Care 450 show good application and stability properties if they contain 20-40% oil phase, lotions and lotions should contain 15-25% oil phase.

TEGO Care 450 forms stable emulsions resistant to temperature fluctuations with all common oils and fats used for skin care products, including polar oils. This provides choice, as the more degradable the oils and the lower the viscosity, the "lighter" the resulting emulsions.
