The glass bottle with trigger sprayer is a practical and reusable packaging suitable for various liquid products where fine and even misting is important. The transparent glass allows for control of the colour and clarity of the contents, which is especially appreciated by creators of natural cosmetics, cleaning solutions or homemade blends for personal care. The trigger sprayer ensures comfortable dispensing without the skin coming into contact with the contents of the container.
This type of packaging is suitable wherever you need a combination of professional appearance, reusability and precise dosing. Glass is a stable material which, when used correctly, helps maintain the long‑term quality of the stored preparation and enables comfortable application using a reliable sprayer.
This glass bottle belongs among stand‑alone packs that are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the e‑shop. Combinations of packs and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing uniformity and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

The packaging can be safely reused if you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface as well as the sprayer – ideally using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. Let the disinfectant solution act briefly, rinse through and let it dry completely to minimize the risk of contamination of the new filling.
The trigger sprayer works most reliably with aqueous or low‑viscosity solutions such as tonics, hydrolats, alcohol‑based solutions or light cleaning blends. With thicker emulsions or highly oily formulations, suction may be impaired and spraying may become uneven. Before fitting it onto the final product, we recommend preparing a test sample, filling a small amount into the bottle and verifying whether the dosing meets your requirements.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. For formulations containing volatile substances, it is important to check regularly that the closure and sprayer seal properly and that no leakage occurs. Do not overfill the bottle to the brim – by leaving a small headspace you reduce the risk of leakage during handling and transport.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it responsibly. The glass body of the bottle, once emptied and given a basic clean, belongs in the appropriate glass container according to local waste sorting rules. The plastic part of the trigger sprayer should be separated from the bottle and placed in plastic collection, provided your local waste sorting system allows this. Always remove product residues before recycling so that the other sorted material is not contaminated.
