What it is suitable for

The sprayer is designed for thin liquids: face toners, hydrosols, refreshing mists with glycerine or aloe, perfume waters and alcohol-based perfumes, hair sprays without thickeners, or room sprays. Thicker gel and oil preparations clog the nozzle or do not disperse. Such formulations belong in a bottle with the same neck type and a pump or dropper.

Good to know

Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is intended for under normal filling. The total brimful volume given in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference forms a reserve for the sprayer dip tube and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. Fill only to the nominal volume; if the bottle is overfilled, the contents are pushed out when the sprayer is fitted.

Before the first filling, wash the bottle, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and let it dry completely. Rinse the sprayer with clean water and pump it dry several times to remove any remaining water from the dip tube. Residual water would interfere in a perfume or in contents with a low water content.

Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes, so let hot solutions cool down before filling. When reusing the bottle, rinse the sprayer with water or alcohol after emptying and let it dry; otherwise, dried contents will eventually clog the nozzle.

The bottle belongs in glass waste. The sprayer is made of polypropylene, aluminium, and other plastics, so separate it from the bottle before recycling and dispose of it separately.
