Is this glass medicine bottle suitable for thicker serums and emulsions?

The dispenser is designed for liquid to medium-viscosity cosmetic products, therefore it is suitable for most facial serums, lighter emulsions and fluids. For very thick formulations, we recommend first carrying out a trial filling in order to verify smooth and even dosing without excessive pressure on the pump.

How should the bottle be prepared before the first filling and for repeated use?

The packaging can be safely reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimize the microbial risk and extend the stability of your formulation.

How do I correctly recycle the bottle and dispenser if I no longer want to use it?

For recycling, it is best to first empty the bottle and remove any product residues. The glass body of the medicine bottle belongs in the container designated for glass, according to local recycling rules specified in the product parameters. The dispenser is usually a combination of plastic and metal parts, so it is normally disposed of in sorted plastic collection, unless local regulations state otherwise.
