Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly for the same type of preparation if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the vial and the spray mechanism and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution. In practice, disinfection with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol has proven effective, for example with products such as IPA 99 % Isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after complete drying and airing is it appropriate to refill the packaging.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the nasal spray and bottle before further use?

First, it is advisable to rinse the bottle and the sprayer mechanically with clean water, optionally with a mild neutral cleaning agent, and rinse thoroughly. Then we recommend disinfecting the components with alcohol – for example using products such as IPA 99 % Isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Leave the alcohol to act briefly in the bottle and the spray, then expel the remainder and allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature. Before refilling, check that the spraying function works correctly.

For which types of nasal preparations is this packaging most suitable?

The vial with nasal spray is ideal for liquid solutions with low to medium viscosity, such as saline solutions, herbal nasal sprays, hydrosols and specifically formulated solutions containing alcohol or glycerine. For oily and more viscous preparations it is always necessary to perform your own test – to verify that the chosen formulation passes through the spray mechanism, does not form deposits and does not clog the nozzle. For very thick or highly oily blends, another type of dosing may be more suitable.

How should I correctly recycle the glass vial and nasal spray if I do not want to use them repeatedly?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters on the website. The glass part of the bottle can generally be sorted, after emptying and rinsing, into the container intended for glass. The spray attachment and any plastic parts should be placed, according to the type of plastic, in the appropriate container for sorted plastic waste, or in mixed waste if local regulations do not allow their separation. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging and to follow the local instructions of the municipality or collection company.
