Amber Glass Bottle, White Dropper, 30 ml

The amber glass medicine bottle with a volume of 30 ml and a white dropper is used for storing and precisely dispensing liquid cosmetic products drop by drop. Amber glass reduces the amount of light reaching the contents, so it suits products that are harmed by light: facial serums, face and hair oils, blends of essential oils in a carrier oil, tinctures or oil extracts. The dropper is useful wherever you need to measure out a few drops instead of pouring the contents from the neck.

The set is supplied as a ready-made pair. Both the bottle and the dropper are declared suitable for contact with cosmetics, and you will find the declaration of conformity with the product. The bottle on its own also has a certificate for direct food contact, while the dropper does not, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetic products.

How the set works

• Dropper – a glass tube with a silicone bulb and a PP cap. Squeezing the bulb draws in the contents, which are then dispensed drop by drop, without your fingers touching the contents.
• Tamper-evident ring – it separates from the cap the first time the cap is unscrewed. The customer can therefore see that the packaging has not been opened before, which is useful when selling finished products.
• Amber glass – limits the amount of light reaching the contents. The glass does not react with common oils or alcohol solutions, so it is also suitable for sensitive active ingredients and essential oils.
• Dropper length – matched to the height of the bottle. The tube reaches close to the bottom, so the contents can be drawn off even when the level is low.

What it is suitable for

• Facial serums – in both the oil phase and the water phase, wherever a few drops are dispensed.
• Face, hair and nail oils – applied precisely where needed, without waste.
• Tinctures and alcohol extracts – dark glass and precise drop-by-drop dispensing.
• Essential oil blends – in a carrier oil for aromatherapy or massage.
• Samples and test batches – small volume and precise dispensing when trying out formulations.

Thick emulsions and creams are difficult to dispense with a dropper. Jars or bottles with a pump are more suitable for them.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The total brimful volume given in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the dropper tube, which pushes part of the contents upwards when screwed in, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the contents will overflow when the dropper is inserted.

Good to know

Glass does not tolerate sudden changes in temperature. Let a hot oil phase or tincture cool to at least room temperature before filling. For concentrated essential oil blends or solutions with a high alcohol content, we recommend checking how the silicone bulb behaves with your specific formulation, especially during longer storage.

After washing and disinfection, the bottle can be used repeatedly. When changing the contents, it is worth replacing the dropper with a new one. Residues of the previous product in the tube and the bulb are difficult to clean and may affect the scent of the new contents.

The bottle is made of glass and belongs in glass recycling. The dropper combines glass, silicone and plastic, so separate it from the bottle before recycling.
