Blue Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold White Spray, 50 ml

Which products is it suitable for

The spray pump works reliably with water-like liquids: hydrolats, facial tonics, refreshing face and body mists, light detangling hair sprays, perfumed and toilet waters, or home and textile fresheners in smaller volumes.

Less suitable are viscous products, thick gels, emulsions and products with undissolved particles – the spray pump cannot disperse these into a mist and the nozzle may clog. Likewise, pure oils and oil serums do not form a mist but tend to drip or spray in a stream; a dropper or pump is more suitable for these.

Nominal and total volume

The bottle is intended for a nominal volume of 50 ml. The total volume to the brim, stated in the parameters, is larger – this is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between the two values provides a reserve for the spray tube, for the air above the fill level, and for any expansion of the contents with temperature change. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim; an overfilled bottle will overflow when the spray pump is screwed on and the tube is harder to insert.

What is good to know before the first fill

Before first use, we recommend washing and disinfecting the bottle with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing it to dry completely. Rinse the spray pump with clean water and spray several times to remove any manufacturing residues from the mechanism; it must be dry before fitting.

The spray tube should end just above the bottom of the bottle – this way it draws out the contents right to the end. If the tube is too long and bends inside the bottle, it can be trimmed with a sharp knife to the required length.

Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes; allow hot contents to cool before filling and do not expose the bottle to frost. The set is intended for repeated use – once empty, simply wash both parts, disinfect and dry them. When replacing the contents with a different formulation, thoroughly flush the spray pump with clean water to prevent residues of the old product from mixing with the new one.

The smooth cylindrical surface of the bottle is suitable for a label. When recycling, separate the spray pump from the glass – the bottle goes into glass waste, while the spray pump combines plastic and metal and is sorted according to local rules for plastics.
