Pomegranate CO₂-to extract ORGANIC is a nourishing vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of Punica granatum by means of supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. This process is carried out without the use of solvents and ensures preservation of the full spectrum of bioactive substances in their natural form. The extract is stabilised with a small amount of organic rosemary antioxidant for protection against oxidation. It is a CO₂-to (total extract) – a complete extract that contains all lipid components, including polyunsaturated fatty acids, sterols, tocopherols and squalene. The product has a yellow colour, an oily consistency and is slightly viscous at room temperature. The main active substance is punicic acid (more than 60%), a conjugated form of linolenic acid with exceptional regenerating and antioxidant effects. The extract also contains tocopherols, sterols and squalene, which support the health and elasticity of the skin.
It is suitable for dry, mature and sensitive skin. It helps to restore damaged skin, supports cell regeneration and improves skin elasticity.
The abbreviation CO₂-to means total extract – a complete CO₂ extract that contains the full spectrum of lipids, waxes, antioxidants and other biologically active substances. This type of extract is more nourishing and more stable than “selective” (CO₂-se) extracts, which contain only volatile components.
Pomegranate extract helps regenerate epidermal cells, supports collagen production and improves skin firmness. Thanks to its antioxidant action, it slows down ageing and protects the skin against UV damage.
