TAED, or also tetraacetylethylenediamine, is a laundry activator.
These white-coloured granules are added in an amount of approx. 5 % to sodium percarbonate and release peroxide from it already at low temperatures, from approx. 30 °C.
It was first used commercially in 1978 and has since become the main bleaching agent in Europe. It is completely biodegradable.
It is soluble in water: 0.2 g/L @ 20 °C.
All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
