Plastic bottle – medicine bottle with glossy dispenser represents a practical packaging for precise dosing of liquid and lightly gel-like preparations. Thanks to the reliable dosing mechanism, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic formulations, serums or specialized solutions, where clean, controlled and hygienic use is important. The dark design of the packaging helps reduce the penetration of light to the sensitive content and contributes to its longer stability.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). This will ensure that the selected container, dispenser or applicator will be fully functional with your product even during long-term storage.
Yes, the packaging can, with appropriate handling, be used repeatedly. When refilling repeatedly, it is essential to observe hygienic principles – before each further use, clean the bottle and the dispenser thoroughly and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the future filling.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleansing component according to the type of the planned content and then disinfecting it with alcohol. After disinfection it is important to let the inner surface dry completely and air out so that the residues of alcohol evaporate. Packaging prepared in this way reduces the risk of product deterioration and contributes to the stability and safety of your formulation.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category in the upper part of the page, you will find filters in which you can select according to several parameters – for example according to the type of neck, size, colour or material. By combining these filters you will quickly narrow down the offer to bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that best correspond to the properties of your product and the method of application.
To preserve the quality, we recommend storing the bottle in a dry, clean place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Always close the dispenser carefully after use to minimise the access of air and impurities. For formulations sensitive to light and heat it is appropriate to follow the recommended temperature range given in the product specification or in the formula.
The dispenser is designed primarily for liquid to lightly gel-like preparations. For thicker emulsions, dosing may be less smooth, therefore for new formulas we recommend carrying out a test filling and checking whether the selected viscosity is suitable for the given type of dosing. In the case of very thick products, it may be appropriate to choose another type of packaging or applicator that is intended for creamier consistencies.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, handing it over for recycling according to the material designation stated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself. Follow the local rules for waste sorting – plastic bottles usually belong in the corresponding container for plastics. Before throwing it away, remove as much product residue as possible so that recycling is more efficient and more environmentally friendly.
