Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected – we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly and only then refill the packaging.

What types of products are most suitable for this spray packaging?

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle and spray pump before further use?

Rinse off product residues with lukewarm water and a suitable detergent, then rinse all parts with clean water. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfection with alcohol – you can spray or rinse the packaging and the spray pump with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Then allow everything to air-dry at room temperature and only refill the packaging after it is completely dry.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?
