Clear plastic medicine bottle, black and gold fine mist sprayer, smoky overcap, 10 ml

Small kit for samples and travel sizes of perfumes, eaux de toilette, facial mists and toners. The medicine bottle with a nominal volume of 10 ml is made of clear PET, so it is lightweight and the contents are visible. The sprayer in a black and gold glossy finish with a smoky overcap gives even a small pack the look of a finished product, which you will appreciate for customer samples, gift sets or test batches of new fragrances.

The kit is supplied as a ready-made pair, so you do not need to look for a closure with the right neck. Both the bottle and the sprayer are suitable for contact with cosmetics; you will find the declaration of conformity with the product.

Suitable uses

• Perfume and eau de toilette samples – the sprayer disperses alcohol-based compositions evenly and the small volume matches a sample exactly.
• Facial mists and toners – water-based and hydrosol contents without thickeners come out of the nozzle as a fine cloud.
• Air fresheners and hair sprays – light alcohol-water blends for travel or for your handbag.
• Testing new formulations – you can check the fragrance or the stability of a mist before filling a larger pack.

The sprayer works with low-viscosity liquids. Oils, thicker serums and anything containing a thickener will either not spray or will only squirt out in a stream. For these contents we therefore recommend a dropper or a pump.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the volume the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The total brimful volume is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck and is always somewhat larger. The difference provides a reserve for the sprayer dip tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle is therefore filled up to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise part of the contents will overflow when you screw on the sprayer.

Good to know

PET and heat. Let the contents cool to room temperature before filling. Hot liquid can deform the plastic.

Alcohol and oil contents. Common alcohol-based perfumes, hydrosols and water-based toners are a standard application for PET. With a high proportion of undiluted essential oils or with solvents, we recommend testing the behaviour of the packaging on one sample and checking whether the plastic goes matte or softens.

Sprayer dip tube. If it extends past the bottom after screwing on and bends, shorten it with a diagonal cut so that it ends just above the bottom. A diagonal cut prevents the dip tube from sticking to the bottom, and the sprayer uses up almost all of the contents.

Reuse. The bottle and the sprayer can be used repeatedly if you rinse them with alcohol between fillings and leave them to dry. When changing the fragrance, bear in mind that the plastic may retain a trace of the previous composition.

Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and belongs in plastic waste. The sprayer combines PP, aluminium and other plastics, so separate it from the bottle before disposal.
