The transparent container allows for easy visual control of the contents, sedimentation or any change in the product’s colour during storage. The plastic pill bottle made of PET is intended for repeated filling in routine practice, provided that correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any effect on the product’s stability.

Important notice regarding PET material: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures for long periods. When exposed to excessive heat, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning and the use of a suitable disinfectant are recommended.

If you decide not to recycle the packaging repeatedly for your own products after use, we recommend its environmentally friendly disposal in accordance with the local waste sorting system according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. By sorting correctly, you help ensure that the material from the bottle is recovered again in the recycling process.

Yes, you can use the bottle repeatedly if you adhere to hygiene principles, as long as it is not mechanically damaged and the material is not visibly degraded. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected – we recommend, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely so that the stability of the filled formulation is not compromised.

How should I properly clean the PET bottle before further use?

First rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or a mild detergent and warm (not boiling) water. Avoid extreme temperatures to prevent deformation of the PET material. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfecting the packaging using an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol 96 %, and then allowing it to dry thoroughly at room temperature.

Is this PET packaging suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling?

No, PET material is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. The high temperatures in a dishwasher or during boiling can cause deformation of the bottle and deterioration of its functional properties. For cleaning, use gentle hand washing in lukewarm water followed by disinfection with an alcohol-based preparation, avoiding prolonged exposure to high temperatures.

How should I correctly recycle this plastic packaging if I no longer want to use it?

When disposing of the packaging, we recommend following the material designation given in the product parameters (for example, the relevant recycling symbol for plastic). Place the empty and as thoroughly cleaned as possible bottle into the container intended for sorting the relevant type of plastic in your town or municipality.
