Glass bottle dropper vial with aluminium cap is a reliable packaging suitable for filling various liquid and drop formulations where precise application, protection of formulation stability and a professional appearance are important. High-quality glass in combination with a metal closure helps maintain the properties of more sensitive formulations and reduces the risk of migration of undesirable substances from the packaging into the product.
This type of vial is often used for cosmetic and technical solutions, serums, concentrated blends or DIY formulations where controlled dosing and safe storage are a priority. Thanks to its compact shape, the bottle is easy to store, transport and is also suitable for smaller cosmetic or gift sets.
Glass vials of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, solvent content, oil or water base).

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly with careful handling, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% plant-based ethanol. Only after the inside of the bottle and the cap are completely dry is the packaging ready for refilling.
The vial is ideal for liquid and drop formulations where precise dosing and protection of the contents are important – for example intensive face serums, active concentrates, care solutions, more diluted oil blends or concentrated aromatic preparations intended for external use. We always recommend verifying suitability for a specific product with a trial batch and a short-term stability test.
Before both first and repeated filling we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle (for example with warm water and a mild detergent suitable for laboratory glassware), rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. It is then important to disinfect the inner surface – it is practical to pour in a small amount of alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96%, close the bottle, shake it, allow it to act and then let it completely air out and dry. We recommend the same procedure for the cap or dropper, if used.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material. The body of the vial itself is made of glass – after emptying and basic rinsing it belongs in the container intended for sorted glass waste according to local rules. The aluminium cap is a metal component that should be separated into metal collection if this option is available in your municipality. Before disposal, remove residual product and any labels according to local recommendations for waste sorting. The specific method of recycling may differ depending on the collection system in your region, so it is advisable to follow local guidelines for sorted waste collection.
