Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Silver White Spray, 100 ml

The clear glass bottle with a nominal volume of 100 ml and a white and silver fine mist sprayer is a ready-made set for thin liquids applied as a spray: facial toners, hydrosols, face and body mists or light hair sprays. The clear glass shows the colour and clarity of the contents, so any cloudiness or sediment is visible straight away. The sprayer screws onto the neck and the set is ready for filling. As a whole, the set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

What it is suitable for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – low-viscosity water-based solutions pass through the sprayer evenly and form fine droplets on the skin that do not need to be rubbed in.
• Face and body mists – refreshing sprays with glycerine, aloe or water-soluble active ingredients, where a small dose per press is useful.
• Hair sprays – light water-based or water and alcohol preparations applied directly to the lengths or the scalp.
• Air fresheners and fragrance sprays – water-based sprays for textiles and rooms with a solubilised fragrance. We recommend testing in advance how the fragrance components behave with the plastic of the sprayer.

Filling and dispensing

The bottle is filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The nominal volume is the amount the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The brimful volume is the physical volume up to the neck, and the difference between the two is a reserve for the tube and body of the sprayer and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. If filled to the brim, the contents would overflow when the sprayer is screwed on.

One press releases approximately 0.14 ml. For a full bottle, this corresponds roughly to several hundred presses, so the set is also suitable for products used several times a day. After screwing on the sprayer, press it several times to prime it until the tube fills and it starts dispensing.

Good to know

Clear glass does not provide protection from light. Store contents that degrade in light in the dark, or choose amber or blue glass.

The bottle on its own has a certificate for direct contact with food; the sprayer does not. The set as a whole is therefore intended for cosmetics, not for food use.

Glass withstands repeated use without any change in its properties. When changing the fragrance or formulation, bear in mind that residues of the previous contents may remain in the tube and pump of the sprayer. Do not pour hot solutions into the glass, as a sudden change in temperature may damage the bottle.

The bottle goes in the glass recycling. The sprayer contains plastic and metal parts, so it is disposed of separately from the glass.
