Product description

A glass vial-shaped bottle with a white pump dispenser is a ready-to-use complete pack for 100 ml of liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products. Glass does not react with the contents, and the pump allows dispensing the product in small doses without opening the bottle or touching the contents with fingers.

The pack is designed for products that pour freely and where precise dosing is valued. The bottle and pump are matched by neck type, so the pack simply needs to be assembled, filled, and closed.

Which products is the pack suitable for

  • Facial serums and fluids – a small dose per pump makes it easy to apply concentrated products sparingly.
  • Face and body lotions, light creams – emulsions with low to medium viscosity flow through the pump smoothly.
  • Cleansing gels and makeup-removing oils – single-handed dispensing is practical for wash-off products.
  • Facial and massage oils – glass is also suitable for oil blends containing essential oils.

The pack is less suitable for very thick creams, butters, and balms that will not flow through the dip tube. It is also not suitable for products with solid particles (scrubs, clay suspensions) that may clog the mechanism.

How the pump dispenser works

The dispenser made of polypropylene draws the contents through a dip tube from the bottom of the bottle and delivers approximately 0.14 ml of product per stroke. Before first use, it must be primed several times until the dip tube fills.

It is worth testing the viscosity of the product directly in the assembled pack before filling the entire batch. If the head returns slowly after pressing or the dose varies, the product is too thick for this dispenser.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 100 ml is the quantity the bottle is intended for under normal filling conditions. The total volume to the rim is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly higher. The difference provides headroom for the dip tube and pump body, which displace some of the contents when screwed in, and for product expansion with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the rim.

Good to know

Preparation before filling. Wash, rinse and disinfect the bottle with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, then leave it to dry completely. Pump a small amount of the disinfectant through the dispenser and let it drip out and dry. The narrow neck is easily filled using a funnel or a syringe.

Glass is sensitive to sudden temperature changes. Allow hot products to cool before filling, and do not expose the bottle to thermal shock — for example, boiling water immediately after a cold rinse.

Contact with cosmetics and food. Both the bottle and the pump are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. The glass bottle alone holds a food-contact certificate; the pack as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

Labelling and closures. Label dimensions are listed in the product parameters. Additional closures with the same neck type and ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. When assembling your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dosing performance, and compatibility of the packaging with the specific formulation.

Recycling. The glass bottle and plastic pump dispenser are recycled separately.

Frequently asked questions

What products is the 100 ml glass bottle with pump suitable for?
The 100 ml glass bottle with pump is suitable for liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products, particularly serums, fluids, face and body lotions, light creams, cleansing gels, and oils. The pump works reliably only with products that flow on their own. A very thick emulsion is drawn through the dip tube slowly and leaves a large amount of unused product on the walls, which is why a jar is more appropriate for thick butters and balms.
Is the glass bottle with white pump dispenser suitable for food?
The pack as a whole is not approved for contact with food; it is intended for cosmetic products. The glass bottle alone holds a food-contact certificate, but the plastic pump dispenser does not. For oils, syrups, or herbal extracts, the bottle must therefore be paired with a closure that has a declared food-contact suitability.
How much product does the pump on the 100 ml glass bottle deliver per stroke?
The pump delivers approximately 0.14 ml of product per stroke. The actual dose depends on the viscosity of the contents: thin serums and oils are dispensed evenly, while thicker emulsions may come out in smaller amounts. The small dose is well suited to concentrated products that are applied sparingly. A larger amount can be dispensed by pressing several times.
Can the glass bottle with pump be reused?
The glass bottle with pump can be reused; after each emptying it simply needs to be washed, disinfected with alcohol, and left to dry. The pump is more difficult to clean because product residue remains in the dip tube and mechanism. Pumping through warm water followed by ethanol helps. When changing formulations or for products intended for sale, using a new pump dispenser is the safer option.
Is the glass bottle with pump suitable for products containing essential oils or alcohol?
Yes, the glass bottle with pump is suitable for products containing essential oils and alcohol at standard cosmetic concentrations. Glass resists these substances, and the pump is made of polypropylene, which tolerates common cosmetic ingredients well. With a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, it is recommended to leave a test sample in the assembled pack for several weeks and monitor both the seal and the pump action.
