Is this glass bottle suitable for serums and products with a higher content of active ingredients?

Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for liquid preparations with a higher content of active ingredients, such as facial serums, oil elixirs or concentrated cosmetic blends. The dark glass helps limit light penetration, which can be an advantage for formulations that are more sensitive to light. However, when developing a new product, we always recommend performing your own stability test under the specific storage conditions.

Can the dropper be used also for thicker oil blends?

The dropper is intended for normally viscous oils and liquid preparations. For very thick oils or formulations with a high wax content, dosing may be slower or less smooth. We always recommend testing a packaging sample with the specific product and checking whether the dropwise mode is suitable for the intended method of use and dosing.

Can I reuse this glass bottle for different products?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and transfer of residues of the original formulation to the next product. When changing the type of product (for example from a perfume composition to a facial serum), we recommend paying exceptional attention to cleaning and disinfection.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its recycling is recommended according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be sorted into the glass container after emptying and basic rinsing. The closure with dropper, which contains plastic and possibly rubber parts, should be separated from the bottle and sorted according to local plastic collection rules, or disposed of in mixed waste if the local recycling system does not accept these materials. Always follow the recommendations of your municipality or waste collection company.
