Plastic medicine bottle with spray pump represents a practical and professional packaging for cosmetic and hygiene formulations where fine and even dispersion of the product is required. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic body and a reliable spray mechanism, it is suitable for filling liquids that require precise and economical dosing directly onto the skin, hair or surface.
The spray closure provides comfortable use without contact with the contents, which helps to maintain the stability and hygiene of the product. The dark design of the packaging also contributes to reducing light exposure for more sensitive formulations, helping them retain their sensory and functional properties during storage.
This product is supplied as a complete combination of bottle and spray pump. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure your product will be long-term stable and comfortable to use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or other packaging solution, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. You can find it at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category. Thanks to the filters you can easily sort the offer by type of neck, size, colour and material and thus adapt the packaging to the properties of your specific formulation and method of dosing.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the spray pump in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or deterioration of the new refill. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After treatment, allow the packaging and the spray pump to dry completely and only then fill with a new product.
Before finally introducing the packaging into production, we recommend performing your own compatibility test. Fill the bottle with a small amount of your formulation, check the closure sealing, the functionality of the spray pump and monitor the behaviour of the material and the contents over several days to weeks under the conditions in which the product will actually be used and stored. Pay particular attention to changes in colour, odour and viscosity, any softening or deformation of the plastic and any clogging of the spray pump at higher content of oily or solid components.
The functionality of the spray pump is influenced by the viscosity and composition of the fill. With thicker or highly oily formulations, faster clogging may occur. We recommend using rather low-viscosity liquids and, after emptying the packaging, rinsing the spray pump with a suitable cleaning solution (e.g. water with a mild detergent, followed by clean water and, if necessary, disinfection with alcohol). In case of longer periods without use, you can actuate the mechanism several times with a clean liquid to remove any deposits and restore even spray dispersion.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters. It is advisable to separate the plastic bottle and the spray pump to make sorting easier. When disposing, follow local recycling rules – the packaging should be free of product residues and clean enough not to complicate processing in the recycling process. In this way, you contribute to more efficient recovery of the materials used.
