Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be reused if proper hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after all parts are completely dry is the packaging suitable to be filled again.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it and disposing of any product residues according to their nature in compliance with local regulations. Then dismantle the plastic bottle and spray pump into individual parts and place them in the appropriate recycling stream according to the material, which is specified in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade website. By following the recommended sorting you support proper recycling and reduce environmental impact.

For which types of products is this spray pump most suitable?

The spray pump is ideal for low-viscosity liquid preparations, such as hydrolats, toners, facial refreshers, body and hair sprays, aromatherapeutic and textile sprays, or disinfectant solutions for hands and surfaces. In the case of thicker emulsions or oils we recommend testing before serial filling to verify smooth spraying and even dosing without clogging of the nozzle.

How should I care for the bottle and spray pump so that they function properly for as long as possible?

To maintain reliable function, we recommend storing the bottle in a dry place, protecting it from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. After the contents have been used up, you can rinse the interior with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water and let it dry completely. Before refilling, it is advisable to disinfect the internal surfaces and the spray mechanism with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, and only reuse the packaging after the alcohol has completely evaporated and everything is dry.
