Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold Black Spray, 100 ml

Clear glass bottle with a fine mist sprayer for toners, hydrosols, facial mists and perfumed waters, 100 ml. The clear glass shows the contents and their colour, and the glossy black and gold sprayer disperses the liquid into a fine mist, so the bottle does not need to be opened during normal use. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. The glass bottle on its own has a certificate for direct contact with food; the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

What the set is suitable for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – thin water-based contents applied directly to the face in a thin layer.
• Refreshing and setting mists – facial sprays with glycerine, aloe or hyaluronic acid at a low concentration.
• Hair care sprays – leave-in conditioner sprays, sea salt sprays, hair mists.
• Perfumed waters and body sprays – alcohol-based compositions where the clear glass lets the purity or tint of the contents stand out.

How the sprayer dispenses

The sprayer screws onto the bottle neck, the tube reaches the bottom and each press releases a small, even dose. It works best with contents of a consistency close to water. Gels, thick serums or pure oils will not pass through the nozzle or will gradually clog it, so they are not suitable for this set. For contents with dissolved pigments, scrub particles or a higher proportion of essential oils, we recommend checking how the nozzle behaves before filling the whole batch.

The sprayer is not an airless system. Air enters the bottle with every press, so water-based contents such as hydrosols and toners need effective preservation. The packaging itself does not protect the contents from microbial growth.

Volume and filling

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The total brimful volume is the physical volume up to the neck and you will find it in the parameters. The difference between them is a reserve for the sprayer tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle is therefore filled up to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If it were filled up to the neck, part of the contents would be pushed out when the sprayer is screwed on.

Good to know

Clear glass does not protect the contents from light. Store hydrosols, contents with essential oils, natural dyes or light-sensitive active ingredients away from direct sunlight. If the product is going to stand on a shelf or in a bathroom by a window, amber or blue glass is more suitable.

The sprayer is made of plastic and aluminium. For contents with a high proportion of alcohol or essential oils, we recommend checking how its parts behave after several weeks of contact with the specific formulation, especially the spring, the seal and the tube.

The bottle and the sprayer can be reused. When switching to different contents, wash both parts, disinfect them and let them dry, otherwise residues of the previous filling will be carried over from the tube into the new one.

After use, the glass belongs in glass recycling; the sprayer should be separated from the bottle before disposal.
