The glass vial with aluminium cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for various types of liquid and partially viscous formulations. High-quality glass combined with a precisely fitting cap helps protect the contents from contact with air and reduces the risk of contamination. The dark glass design also contributes to the protection of light-sensitive components, which you will appreciate especially for products containing botanical extracts, antioxidants or essential oils.
This small bottle is ideal for smaller batches of products where dosing accuracy, stability and a professional appearance are important. From a formulation point of view, glass is in most cases chemically stable, which minimises interaction between the packaging and the contents and helps preserve the desired properties, colour and fragrance of the product throughout its shelf life.
Yes, the glass vial is generally suitable for oil-based and water-based bases such as facial oils, serums or toners. Glass is a material with high chemical stability, so in most cases it does not affect the composition of the contents. Nevertheless, for new or very sensitive formulations we recommend carrying out your own stability and compatibility test over the intended storage period.
The packaging can be reused if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend suitable alcohol-based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or plant-derived ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-derived. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely before filling it with a new product.
Store products in the bottle in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Dark glass helps reduce light penetration, but for optimal stability we recommend room temperature without significant fluctuations. Always tighten the cap firmly to minimise contact with air and evaporation of volatile components, especially for preparations containing essential oils or alcohol.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material information given in the product parameter table. The glass part can in most cases be placed in a container intended for glass, while the metal cap should go into separated waste according to the material type (usually metal packaging waste). Before recycling, empty the bottle; you can rinse it with a small amount of water or alcohol and remove any product residues to facilitate the sorting and recycling process.
