Amber Matte Glass Bottle, White Oral Spray, 30 ml

This glass bottle – a matte medicine bottle with an oral sprayer – is designed for dispensing liquid preparations that are applied precisely and in small doses: breath fresheners, sprays with herbal extracts for the mouth and throat, and other oral cosmetic sprays. The pump delivers approximately 0.1 ml per press, so the contents land on a small area exactly where you aim them, without dripping and without waste.

A bottle made of matte amber glass protects the contents from light. Water-based and alcohol-based preparations with herbal extracts, essential oils or other light-sensitive ingredients therefore stay stable for longer. The 30 ml volume suits a product that you carry with you and use several times a day.

What the set is suitable for

Choose thin, free-flowing formulations for this set. Thick, syrupy preparations, gels or liquids with insoluble particles put a strain on the pump mechanism, and the nozzle may become blocked.

Dispensing and filling

Screw the pump onto the neck with the 18/410 neck finish. The dip tube of the pump is longer than the height of the bottle, so shorten it before fitting so that it ends just above the bottom. The contents can then be used up almost completely. When using it for the first time, prime the pump by pressing it several times until the tube and nozzle fill with liquid and the dose becomes consistent.

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the pump, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Residual water in the bottle would dilute the contents and, in water-based preparations, would increase the risk of microbial contamination.

Good to know

The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. It is not intended for food use.

The pump is made of polypropylene (PP). For preparations with a higher proportion of essential oils or with a high alcohol content, check how the mechanism behaves with your specific formulation: tightness, dose size and the condition of the nozzle after several weeks of use.

The glass withstands normal temperature differences during use, but a sudden change between a very cold and a hot environment may damage it. Therefore, let the preparation cool to room temperature before filling.

The bottle can be reused. Once empty, wash it, disinfect it and let it dry in the same way as before the first filling. Rinse the pump with clean water or ethanol by pressing it several times with the tube submerged, and let it dry. If the nozzle dispenses unevenly after rinsing, replace the pump.

At the end of its life, the glass bottle belongs in glass recycling and the pump in plastics.
