Product description

Plastic bottle, vial, cream dispenser with a black cap, 50 ml is a ready-made packaging and closure set for creams, lotions, serums and gels that you want to dispense hygienically without finger contact with the contents. The brown PET bottle is lightweight and shatterproof, and its dark colour filters light. The black cream dispenser with a dip tube delivers a small, repeatable dose with each press, making it particularly suitable for products where precise dosing matters.

The set is intended for cosmetic products. Both the bottle and the dispenser are declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. The bottle alone holds a certificate for direct food contact; the complete set as a whole is not intended for food use.

Suitable for products such as

  • Facial creams and light emulsions – one press corresponds roughly to the amount typically applied to the face, without scooping with fingers from a jar.
  • Serums and gels – water-based and hydrogel textures pass through the tube without issue, and the small dose prevents wasting concentrated active ingredients.
  • Body lotions and hand lotions in travel size – the 50 ml volume is practical for trial packaging, gift sets or on-the-go use.
  • Oil serums and oil blends – liquid oils dispense easily. With contents containing a higher proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend testing plastic compatibility with the specific formulation in advance.

How the dispenser works

The dispenser screws onto the bottle neck and draws the contents up through a dip tube from the bottom, so the bottle can be emptied almost completely. One press delivers approximately 0.14 ml. This allows the product to be dispensed economically and the dose is easy to repeat.

The pump with dip tube is not an airless system. Each press draws air into the bottle, so water-based formulations filled into this set should be properly preserved and stabilised, just as they would be in a standard bottle.

Very thick creams and butters may clog the dispenser or dispense unevenly. With denser textures, we recommend filling one unit as a test and checking whether the dispenser delivers the contents smoothly after several presses.

What is good to know when filling

Nominal volume is the volume for which the packaging is designed under normal filling conditions. The total capacity to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference provides a reserve for the dispenser tube and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim; otherwise, some of the contents will be pushed out when the dispenser is screwed on.

Before first use, we recommend washing both the bottle and the dispenser, disinfecting with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing them to dry completely. Residual water in the tube would dilute the first doses. The bottle can be reused if cleaned thoroughly. The dispenser is cleaned by pumping through warm water and then alcohol; however, after a change of fragrance or a coloured product, it is more reliable to replace it with a new one. PET tolerates normal temperatures when filling cold. Hot filling of creams immediately after emulsification is not suitable — allow the contents to cool first.

For recycling, the PET bottle and the polypropylene dispenser are sorted as plastic. As they are two different materials, we recommend separating them before disposal.

Closures with the same neck type, listed in the specifications, and other ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. When creating your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dosing and packaging behaviour with the specific formulation.

The brown colour of the bottle adds protection for light-sensitive ingredients, such as vitamin C, retinoids or plant oils prone to oxidation, and cosmetics inside look cohesive even without a label.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 50 ml plastic vial with cream dispenser suitable for cream?
Yes, the set is designed specifically for creams, lotions and medium-viscosity emulsions. The dispenser delivers a small dose that corresponds to a typical application to the face or hands, without touching the contents with fingers. Very thick creams and butters may clog the dispenser, so with such textures we recommend filling one unit as a test.
Does the brown PET bottle protect the contents from light?
Yes, the brown PET colour reduces light transmission, helping to slow the degradation of sensitive ingredients. The protection is not complete, however, so for ingredients that are particularly light-sensitive, such as vitamin C, we also recommend stabilising them within the formulation and not storing the finished product in direct sunlight.
How much cream does the dispenser deliver per press?
Approximately 0.14 ml. This is a small dose suitable for serums, facial creams and concentrated products where you want to make precise application easier for the customer. For body lotion, where a larger amount is applied, several presses are needed, which may be less convenient for the customer.
Can the set with dispenser be used for food products, such as syrups or oils?
No, the complete set is not intended for food contact. The brown bottle alone holds a certificate for direct food contact; the cream dispenser does not carry this declaration. The full set is therefore intended for cosmetic products only.
How is the vial with dispenser cleaned before reuse?
Wash the bottle with warm water and a mild detergent, rinse it, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow it to dry completely. Pump warm water through the dispenser and then alcohol to remove product residue from the tube. If the previous contents stained the plastic or left a fragrance, it is more reliable to replace the dispenser with a new one.
Is the PET bottle suitable for an oil serum containing essential oils?
For standard carrier oils and a low proportion of essential oils, yes — PET is commonly used for oil-based cosmetic products. Highly concentrated essential oils and solvents can affect the plastic over time, so with such contents we recommend testing packaging behaviour with a trial fill and considering a glass container.
