Before the first filling, we recommend checking the packaging, disassembling it into individual parts (bottle, dispenser, possible cap) and mechanically cleaning it from dust or production residues. It is then appropriate to disinfect all parts with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After thorough evaporation of the alcohol, you can fill the bottle with the final product under the cleanest possible conditions.

The packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and the packaging is not mechanically damaged. Before each new filling, the bottle must be completely emptied, cleaned and then disinfected with an alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After the disinfectant has completely dried, you can refill the bottle with a suitable product.

Always adapt the method of recycling to the material specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for sorted collection, we recommend completely emptying the bottle and at least roughly rinsing it so that no larger residues of contents remain. Then dispose of the plastic container and the dispenser in the collection container intended for that type of plastic according to local recycling rules. If the collection systems in your area require separation of different plastic parts, follow the instructions of your local waste collector and the information in the product parameters on Handymade.

The dispenser is designed for dispensing creamy and semi-liquid products, but the final behaviour always depends on the specific viscosity of your formulation. For very thick butters or balms, we recommend making a test sample before series filling to verify whether the product is dispensed smoothly, without clogging, and whether the single dose is suitable in terms of quantity. If necessary, the viscosity of the formulation can be adjusted (for example by adding an oil or water phase) so that it works better with the dispenser.
