How to prepare the plastic medicine bottle with dispenser for the first filling?

Before first use we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging, rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent and then thoroughly disinfecting it. For disinfection of the inner space and the dispensing part it is appropriate to use alcohol solutions, for example IPA or ethanol. After thorough drying the bottle can be filled with the final product and closed with the dispenser.

Is it possible to use this bottle with dispenser repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to carefully clean and disinfect the container and the dispensing part in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using suitable alcohol solutions, for example products available on Handymade.sk, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After disinfection the packaging must be allowed to dry completely and only then filled again.

How to correctly recycle or dispose of this plastic packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend placing it in sorted collection according to the type of plastic given in the product parameters and according to the recycling mark on the container itself. Before throwing it into the appropriate container, remove product residues and, if possible, separate the different parts (for example the bottle body and the dispensing head) so that the most efficient recycling can take place. By following the recommended sorting rules you contribute to reuse of the material and to reducing the amount of waste.

When filling thicker creams it is important to proceed smoothly and avoid forcing a larger amount of air into the container so that smooth dispensing is maintained. It is recommended to work at a temperature that does not change the consistency of the cream and does not place undue stress on the plastic material. After filling always check the functionality of the dispenser with a test press and, if necessary, adjust the filling method or the product’s viscosity.
