Amber Plastic Bottle, White Spray, 50 ml

The set of an amber plastic medicine bottle 50 ml with a white fine mist sprayer is intended for cosmetics applied by spraying: facial toners, hydrosols, alcohol-based hand sprays, refreshing hair sprays or samples of lower-viscosity eau de parfum. Amber PET reduces the amount of light that passes through, so light-sensitive contents are better protected than in a clear container. The bottle is lightweight and shatter-resistant, and at 50 ml it fits in a handbag, suits travel and works as a travel-size pack for customers.

The sprayer in the set is matched to the bottle neck. After filling, you only need to screw it on and the packaging is ready to use. The contents are dispensed without pouring and without fingers touching the product, which helps especially with water-based products, where clean handling matters.

How the sprayer dispenses

Pressing the head draws the liquid up through the tube and releases it as fine droplets. One press delivers approximately 0.13 ml. The contents are distributed evenly without dripping, and consumption is economical.

The mechanism works with thin water-based and alcohol-based liquids. Thicker products, oil sprays or gel toners with a higher proportion of thickener will either not be drawn up by the sprayer or will be released as a jet instead of a mist. If your formulation contains a solubilised essential oil or a fragrance composition, we recommend testing how the sprayer behaves on a small sample.

Filling and volume

The nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for under normal filling. The brimful capacity is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference leaves room for the sprayer tube, which dips into the contents once the sprayer is screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Fill therefore only up to the nominal volume of 50 ml and leave the rim free. An overfilled bottle overflows when the sprayer is fitted.

PET is not suitable for filling with hot contents. Let toners and sprays cool to room temperature before filling so that the bottle wall does not deform.

Good to know

• Contact with cosmetics – both the bottle and the sprayer are declared suitable for use with cosmetic products. The declaration of conformity is provided with the product.
• Food use – only the amber medicine bottle 50 ml on its own has a certificate for direct food contact. The sprayer does not have one, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.
• Essential oils and solvents – with a higher proportion of essential oils, fragrance compositions or other solvents, we recommend checking that the material does not change in appearance and that the sprayer seal holds.
• Reuse – the set can be used again after washing and disinfection. Rinse the sprayer by pressing it several times in clean water and then several times empty, so that any residue of the previous contents is removed from the tube and the head.
• Other closures – the bottle fits closures with the same neck finish as stated in the parameters. Ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. If you make your own combination, check the tightness, the dispensing and the behaviour of the packaging with your specific formulation.
• Recycling – the bottle is made of PET and the sprayer of PP. Separate them before disposal.
