Plastic medicine bottle with spray pump offers a practical solution for packaging and dispensing liquid products where fine and even atomization is important. Thanks to the well-chosen material and the functional spray mechanism, the packaging is ideal for products that require hygienic, comfortable and controlled application without direct contact with the contents. The dark version of the bottle helps protect more sensitive formulations from external influences.
This packaging is supplied as a bottle + spray pump combination, so it is immediately ready for filling and use without the need to purchase additional components. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if proper hygiene practices are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination of the new contents and extend the usable life of your formulations.
Before a new filling, we recommend first thoroughly rinsing the packaging with suitable water or a solution corresponding to the type of the previous product, removing mechanical impurities and allowing it to drain. Then apply disinfection using an alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly on the surface and then let the bottle and the spray mechanism dry completely at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to empty it completely before disposal and remove any product residues. Then, if the design allows, separate the bottle from the spray pump and follow the recycling information provided in the product parameters on the Handymade website. The type of plastic and the corresponding recycling symbol determine into which container for sorted waste the individual parts belong. Always also follow the local collection and recycling rules in your municipality so that material recovery is as efficient as possible.
The bottle with spray pump is suitable primarily for liquid, low-viscosity formulations that need to be applied in the form of a fine mist or a thin layer – for example facial toners, refreshing and floral waters, hair toners, hygiene sprays or aromatic blends intended for external use. Thicker or gel-like products may not be ideal for this type of dosing, therefore we recommend always carrying out a test before final filling in order to verify how the specific product behaves during spraying.
