Product description

The brown PET plastic medicine bottle is a practical container suitable for liquid and finely free-flowing products that require reliable protection and comfortable dosing. The brown coloration helps protect more sensitive components from light, which is especially important for formulations containing oils, extracts or active substances. The flip-top closure allows quick and hygienic use without the need for completely unscrewing it, making the container suitable for everyday and travel-size packaging of cosmetics and other preparations.

Technical parameters

Since this is a PET plastic container, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures. With long-term or repeated exposure to heat there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, therefore it is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning and repeated use, it is better to choose gentle hand washing and disinfection with recommended agents.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic medicine bottle suitable for repeated use?

The container can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed and an appropriate cleaning method is used. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). Since it is a PET material, the container is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher in order to avoid its deformation.

How should this PET bottle be properly cleaned before further use?

We recommend first rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent and lukewarm water, avoiding high temperatures. After thoroughly rinsing with clean water, allow the container to dry and then disinfect it using a suitable alcohol (e.g. the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). Before refilling, make sure that no moisture or residues of cleaning agents remain inside.

Is PET material resistant to high temperatures and hot products?

PET plastic is not designed for long-term contact with high temperatures. In case of excessive heating, the container may soften or deform. Therefore, it is not recommended to fill the bottle with hot mixtures, to boil it or to wash it in a dishwasher. When working with this type of packaging, it is advisable to use products at room temperature or slightly elevated temperature in order to maintain dimensional stability and the functionality of the closure.

How can I properly dispose of or recycle this plastic medicine bottle?

If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it into sorted waste according to the material designation indicated in the product parameters. PET containers are usually placed in a bin intended for plastic waste. Before recycling, it is advisable to remove any product residues and, if possible, to separate the closure to facilitate further processing in the recycling system.

For significantly thick formulations (e.g. very dense gels or creams) we recommend testing flow and dosing before final filling, so that you can be sure that the opening of the closure corresponds to the viscosity of the specific product and allows comfortable use.
