Clear Plastic Bottle, Gold Black Spray, Smoky Overcap, 50 ml

The clear plastic medicine bottle with a capacity of 50 ml and a black and gold fine mist sprayer with a smoky overcap is a ready-made set for facial mists, toners, hydrosols and eau de parfum. The liquid is dispensed as a fine mist by pressing the head, there is no need to open the packaging, and the contents do not come into contact with your hands during use. The bottle is made of PET, so it is light, does not break when dropped, and you can see through the clear wall how much is left.

The sprayer has a glossy black and gold finish and a translucent smoky overcap that protects the head from dust and accidental pressing in a handbag or travel bag. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. In addition, the bottle itself has a certificate for direct contact with food, while the sprayer does not, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

What the set is suitable for

The sprayer disperses thin, water-based and alcohol-based liquids well. Thicker preparations, oils and serums with higher viscosity do not form a mist and can clog the head. The 50 ml volume also fits into hand luggage.

Filling and volume

The nominal volume is the volume the bottle is intended for with normal filling. The total brimful volume is larger and reaches up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the sprayer’s dip tube, which pushes part of the liquid upwards when the sprayer is screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If it were filled up to the neck, the liquid would overflow through the thread when the sprayer is screwed on.

Good to know

Clear PET does not protect the contents from light. Store light-sensitive preparations, for example those with vitamin C, essential oils or plant extracts, in this bottle away from direct sunlight, or choose dark packaging for them. For formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking the behaviour of the plastic in the finished formulation. The packaging should not be exposed to aggressive chemicals.

The sprayer dispenses the same small amount with each press, which makes it easier to apply toner without unnecessary waste. The first presses after filling serve to draw the liquid into the tube, and the mist appears only after them. Shake products that may separate over time before use.

The set can be used repeatedly. Unscrew the sprayer, rinse it with clean water and spray several times to remove residues of the previous contents from the tube and head, then let both parts dry. The PET bottle goes in plastic recycling, and the sprayer with the aluminium collar should be removed and disposed of separately.
