Clear Plastic Bottle, Glossy White-Silver Dispenser, 100 ml

A set consisting of a clear PET bottle with a nominal volume of 100 ml and a plastic pump with an 18/415 neck finish. The bottle is lightweight, and the pump releases a small, repeatable amount with each press, so you can dispense the contents without unscrewing the closure and without your fingers touching the product. It is suitable for serums, facial and body oils, liquid emulsions and lotions, or hair oils, that is, for products applied in smaller amounts.

The clear plastic shows how much of the contents remains in the bottle and what colour it is. The white and silver glossy pump gives the finished product a clean look.

How the set works

• Bottle – clear PET with a G18x3 thread. It is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics and separately also has a certificate for direct food contact.
• Pump – made of PP and aluminium, declared suitable for cosmetics. One press dispenses approximately 0.14 ml, which for a full bottle corresponds to hundreds of doses.
• Dip tube – its length matches the height of this bottle, so the contents are drawn almost from the bottom.

The set as a whole is intended for cosmetics. The pump does not have a food-contact certificate, so the set is not offered for food use.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the packaging is designed for under normal filling. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck and is somewhat larger. The difference between them provides a reserve for the dip tube and the body of the pump, which take up part of the space once screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes.

What it is suitable for

The small dose per press suits products applied by the drop or in small amounts: facial serums, oil serums for the face, facial and massage oils, liquid lotions, light emulsions, hair oils for the ends. You will appreciate the precise dispensing especially with products that have a higher price per millilitre, where nothing should be spilled.

With thicker creams and gel textures, the specific viscosity is decisive. A pump with a small dose may not draw up a thick product reliably, so run a test with the finished formulation before filling larger quantities.

Good to know

• Preparation before the first filling – wash and disinfect the bottle and the pump with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Residual water in the tube would dilute the first doses.
• Composition of the contents – the packaging is not intended for aggressive chemicals. For products with a high proportion of essential oils, alcohol or solvents, check how the plastic behaves with your specific formulation.
• Reuse – after thorough washing and disinfection, the bottle can be filled again. Rinse the pump by pumping warm water through it until it runs clear, and let it dry.
• Recycling – the bottle is made of PET with material code 1 and is sorted as plastic. The pump combines plastic and aluminium, so separate it from the bottle before disposal.
