A plastic bottle with a mechanical sprayer is a ready-made set for thin liquid products applied as a spray: facial waters, tonics, hydrolats, hair sprays, and room fragrances. The clear PET is lightweight and break-resistant, making it suitable for the bathroom, handbag, and travel. It also shows the colour and level of the contents.

The tall slim 100 ml bottle is comfortable to hold while spraying. The white sprayer with a silver matte ring has a neutral appearance, making the set suitable for facial and hair care products as well as household products.

What the set is suitable for

The mechanical sprayer works reliably with liquids that have a consistency close to water. In practice, these are mainly the following products:

• Facial waters, tonics, and hydrolats – the spray applies a thin, even layer without a cotton pad.
• Hair sprays and leave-in conditioners in thin form – the contents are distributed along the hair lengths without over-wetting.
• Body and refreshing sprays – water-based and water-alcohol blends with dissolved fragrance.
• Room fragrances, fabric sprays, and cleaning agents – the clear bottle shows how much contents remain.

Thick gels, emulsions, and pure oils cannot be dispersed by the sprayer. Instead of a spray, a stream or drops are produced and the mechanism may become clogged.

How the set dispenses and seals

One press delivers approximately 0.12 ml, so the dose can be estimated by the number of presses. When first used, the sprayer needs to be pressed several times without liquid until the dip tube fills.

The sprayer screws onto the neck and seals when tightened. In a handbag or luggage, it is still advisable to carry the bottle upright.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for when filled normally. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. This difference serves as a reserve for the dip tube and the sprayer body, which displace some liquid once fitted, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. An overfilled bottle may overflow when closing.

Good to know

Both the bottle and the sprayer are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. The set is intended for cosmetic and technical use, not for food.

Before the first fill, wash the bottle, rinse it, and disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Spray the sprayer several times with disinfectant and allow both to dry completely. Residual water in the bottle unnecessarily burdens the preservation of the product.

The clear material provides no light protection, so products with sensitive ingredients should be stored in a cabinet or box.
