The glass bottle with spray pump is a practical and aesthetic packaging solution for home and professional formulations where gentle and even application is important. It is particularly suitable for filling liquid products that are applied as a mist or fine spray and helps optimise both consumption and user comfort.
Thanks to the glass used, this bottle serves as a stable and reliable container for various cosmetic and supportive blends. Glass is a material with very good chemical resistance, which makes it a suitable choice for many natural formulations, hydrosols, toners and lighter solutions. The spray pump provides convenient dosing without the contents coming into contact with the environment, which helps maintain product quality.
This bottle is supplied with a spray pump, and the glass container itself is structurally compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the Handymade range. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – check sealing, dosing reliability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

When deciding on the final use, we recommend taking into account the data given in these documents and adapting the method of filling, storage and transport of the finished product accordingly.
The bottle and the spray pump can be reused, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, thoroughly clean the packaging and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging and accessories have dried thoroughly is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.
The spray pump is ideal for low-viscosity liquid formulations that are to be applied as a fine mist. In practice this mainly includes facial and body sprays, hydrosols, toners, light hair sprays and aromatic blends for air freshening. For thicker emulsions or oil-based blends, we recommend first carrying out a dosing test to verify whether the spray pump produces a sufficiently fine and even dispersion.
Before first and repeated use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the container with alcohol – for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. For the spray pump, we recommend letting the disinfecting solution pass through the pumping system to clean the internal channel section as well. Only then should you fill the container with the final product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters on the Handymade website. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in a container intended for glass, while the plastic parts of the spray pump (head, tube) belong in sorted plastic waste, or in mixed waste if the local recycling system does not allow them to be separated. Before placing the packaging in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty it and minimise any product residue to facilitate further material processing.
