Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold White Spray, 30 ml

A ready-made combination of a small clear glass bottle and a glossy white and gold fine mist sprayer for 30 ml of thin liquids that are applied as a fine mist. Clear glass lets the colour of the contents stand out, so it suits toners, hydrosol sprays, face and hair mists, fragranced waters or refreshing sprays for your handbag and for travel. Both the bottle and the sprayer are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products, and the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

The glass withstands thorough washing and disinfection, so you can use the bottle repeatedly. The head and collar of the sprayer in a glossy white and gold finish give the packaging an appearance that holds up well in gift packaging or in a small production run for sale.

What it is suitable for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – water-based solutions without thickeners are sprayed evenly and finely.
• Face and hair mists – light solutions with glycerine, aloe or water-soluble active ingredients.
• Fragranced waters and fresheners – the smaller volume suits samples, travel packs or testing a new composition.
• Hand and body sprays – thin, low-viscosity liquids that do not clog the nozzle.

The sprayer is designed for watery and thin contents. With thicker solutions, thickened gel sprays or pure oils, test how the nozzle behaves beforehand. Thick contents may spray in a stream instead of a mist or clog the nozzle.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 30 ml is the amount the bottle is designed to hold when filled normally. The total (brimful) volume is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference is a reserve for the tube and the body of the sprayer and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If it is overfilled, the contents will overflow through the neck once the sprayer is fitted.

Good to know

Light. Clear glass does not protect the contents from light. It suits contents that are not sensitive to light, or products that are used up quickly. Store hydrosols and solutions with vitamins or natural dyes away from direct sunlight, or choose amber glass.

Before the first filling, wash the bottle, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let it dry completely. Rinse the sprayer with clean water and spray several times to clear any residual water from the tube and mechanism. Water-based products must contain a preservative, however clean the packaging is.

Reuse. The glass withstands repeated washing and disinfection. After emptying, spray clean water through the sprayer. When changing contents that contain a fragrance or oil components, it is better to replace the sprayer so that the scents do not mix and the nozzle stays clear.

Sprayer materials. The mechanism combines plastic (PP) with an aluminium collar. With alcohol-based fragranced waters and solutions with a higher proportion of essential oils, check the tightness and behaviour of the sprayer with your specific formulation, ideally over several weeks of normal use.

Recycling. Once the product is used up, unscrew the sprayer. The glass belongs with glass waste, while the sprayer is made of several materials and is sorted separately.
