Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for further use.

We recommend first disassembling the sprayer into the accessible parts, rinsing them with warm water and detergent, and then thoroughly rinsing with clean water. For disinfection, the use of alcohol is appropriate; it needs to be pumped through the mechanism so that the inner capillary is also cleaned. After complete drying, you can reassemble the sprayer and test it by lightly filling it with water. Avoid using thick emulsions or products with undissolved solid particles, which may clog the nozzle.

The sprayer is most suitable for liquid, low-viscosity formulations such as facial and body sprays, floral waters, hair mists, light perfume or room sprays and gentle cleansing solutions. It is recommended to use only well-filtered blends without undissolved particles (e.g. herbs or powders) in order to avoid clogging of the mechanism. For specific formulations, it is advisable to test long-term compatibility and dosing behaviour in advance.

We recommend storing the filled bottle in an upright position, in a dry environment and away from direct sunlight or significant temperature fluctuations. This reduces the risk of leakage, prevents possible degradation of the contents and at the same time protects the plastic part of the sprayer. For products that are sensitive to light, it is suitable to store them in a cabinet or an opaque cosmetic bag in order to minimise the effect of light on the active ingredients.

The glass part of the bottle can usually be disposed of in a glass recycling container after removing any remaining contents. The sprayer, which contains a combination of plastic and metal components, must be placed in the appropriate fraction of mixed or plastic waste according to the recommendations of the local collection system.
