Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold White Spray, 15 ml

The 15 ml glass bottle with a white and gold fine mist sprayer is designed for filling liquid cosmetic products applied by spraying: facial toners, hydrosols, perfume waters and refreshing sprays. The small volume suits samples, travel sizes and small batches, where it is worth testing a recipe before filling larger packaging.

The bottle is made of clear glass, so you can see the contents and their colour at a glance. The sprayer with a glossy white and gold finish screws directly onto the neck and is supplied with a dip tube. Both the bottle and the sprayer are declared suitable for contact with cosmetics; you will find the declaration of conformity with the product.

What the set is suitable for

• Toners and hydrosols – low-viscosity water-based products pass easily through the sprayer and are applied evenly in a fine mist.
• Perfume waters and alcohol-based sprays – the bottle can also be used for your own perfumes and fragrance samples, which are dispensed in small amounts.
• Refreshing and soothing sprays – for example, an after-sun face spray or a hair mist with an infusion, applied repeatedly throughout the day.

Volume and filling

The nominal volume is the volume the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The brimful volume is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck and can be found in the parameters. The difference between them is a reserve for the dip tube and the body of the sprayer, and also space for the contents to expand when the temperature changes. For this reason, fill up to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If the bottle were filled up to the neck, part of the contents would be pushed out when the sprayer is screwed on.

Good to know

Clear glass does not protect the contents from light. Store products containing essential oils, plant extracts or sensitive active ingredients away from direct sunlight, or fill them into amber or blue glass instead. For perfume waters, hydrosols and toners without light-sensitive ingredients, clear glass is a common choice.

The sprayer is intended for thin liquids. Aqueous solutions, hydrosols, alcohol-based products and very light oils pass through the nozzle well. Thicker oils, emulsions or products containing a thickener may spray unevenly or clog the nozzle. Check how your specific formulation behaves in the sprayer on a small amount before filling the whole batch.

Before the first filling, wash and disinfect the bottle and the sprayer with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Residual water in the dip tube or in the bottle can dilute the contents and, in water-based products, impair their microbiological stability.

The glass bottle can be reused after washing and disinfection. Once the sprayer is empty, rinse it with clean water or ethanol and let it dry, so that no residues of the previous contents remain in the dip tube and nozzle. When you stop using it for good, the bottle belongs in glass recycling, while the sprayer is sorted separately, as it combines polypropylene and aluminium.
