This type of packaging is designed for cream products that are to be dispensed in an even, repeatable dose without the need to scoop with fingers. The integrated dispenser enables comfortable and economical use of the product, which is ideal when packaging face creams, special treatment preparations and smaller batches of artisan cosmetics.
This packaging is supplied as a complete combination of glass bottle and cream dispenser with black top, so it is ready for immediate filling and use without the need to select additional components. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass medicine bottle with dispenser can be repeatedly used, provided you follow strict hygiene rules. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured, available on the Handymade website (IPA 99 %, ethanol 96 % plant-based). This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safety of use of new batches. For the mechanical parts of the dispenser, also check the functionality and sealing before re-use.
Before first use and before each subsequent filling, we recommend washing the glass part of the bottle with a gentle washing agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. Subsequently, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface and the parts that come into contact with the product with an alcohol solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. With the dispenser it is necessary to proceed carefully so that the sealing parts are not damaged – after disinfection and drying, always test the functionality of the pump with a small amount of product.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials listed in the product parameters on the Handymade website. The glass part of the bottle can usually be included in sorted glass collection after basic emptying of product residues. The dispenser, which contains plastic and possibly metal components, should be separated from the glass and sorted according to local rules for plastic collection or disposed of in mixed waste if precise material sorting is not possible. When recycling, follow the recommendations of your local waste collection service and the information in the technical parameters of the specific packaging.
