Before each new filling, both the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.

For what type of products is the spray pump most suitable?

The spray pump is most suitable for low‑viscosity liquids that need to be applied in the form of a fine mist or spray. These are mainly facial and body waters, hydrolats, air fresheners, alcoholic solutions and disinfectant sprays. For thicker emulsions or oil serums, we recommend testing before use whether the mechanism will ensure smooth and even dosing without clogging.

How should I proceed when cleaning the bottle and spray pump before the next filling?

First we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and detergent, and rinsing it well. The spray mechanism must be rinsed with clean water by pressing the pump several times so that the water passes through the entire line. Then disinfect the packaging with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, and let it dry completely at room temperature. Only then is the bottle ready for reuse.

How should I recycle this packaging correctly if I no longer want to use it?

Before recycling, we recommend emptying the packaging and removing any product residues.
