The glass bottle – medicine bottle made of brown glass is a professional packaging suitable for filling liquid and partially viscous products that require reliable protection against external influences. The dark glass also helps protect sensitive components from light, which is beneficial for formulations with a higher proportion of natural extracts or oils. The elegant black-gold glossy dispenser with a transparent top gives the packaging a representative appearance and ensures comfortable, controlled dispensing during everyday use.
This set consists of a glass bottle with integrated dispenser, with the combination of packaging and closure designed and configured directly on Handymade.sk. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or oil phase content).

Brown glass is commonly used for formulations where light protection and good chemical stability of the packaging are important. The bottle is suitable for oil-based and emulsion products and for preparations with a higher proportion of active substances. For every new formulation, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the stability of the colour, fragrance and viscosity of the product after filling and storage in this packaging.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely so that moisture does not accumulate in the packaging, and only then refill the container.
For smooth dosing, it is important to adapt the viscosity of the formulation to the type of dispenser – preparations that are too thick can reduce dosing comfort. At first use, press the mechanism several times so that the system fills with product. When cleaning the packaging, we recommend rinsing the dosing part as well and letting it dry thoroughly. If you work with preparations containing undissolved particles or exfoliating components, check that they do not clog the dosing opening.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and cleaning it of product residues. The glass part of the bottle is usually placed in a container designated for glass, while the plastic and metal parts of the closure (including the dosing mechanism) belong, according to local rules, in plastic collection or in municipal waste if they cannot be separated by material. Specific recycling recommendations follow the material composition given in the product parameters, so we recommend checking the instructions in the table for the given packaging and adapting your waste sorting accordingly.
