Is this glass medicine bottle suitable for products with a higher content of active ingredients or oils?

Brown glass is commonly used for formulations where light protection and good chemical stability of the packaging are important. The bottle is suitable for oil-based and emulsion products and for preparations with a higher proportion of active substances. For every new formulation, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the stability of the colour, fragrance and viscosity of the product after filling and storage in this packaging.

How should I properly clean and reuse this bottle with dispenser?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely so that moisture does not accumulate in the packaging, and only then refill the container.

How can I ensure that the dispenser doses the contents evenly and without clogging?

For smooth dosing, it is important to adapt the viscosity of the formulation to the type of dispenser – preparations that are too thick can reduce dosing comfort. At first use, press the mechanism several times so that the system fills with product. When cleaning the packaging, we recommend rinsing the dosing part as well and letting it dry thoroughly. If you work with preparations containing undissolved particles or exfoliating components, check that they do not clog the dosing opening.

How can I safely recycle this bottle if I no longer want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and cleaning it of product residues.
