Is this glass medicine bottle also suitable for oil-based and more viscous cosmetic products?

Yes, the glass medicine bottle with dispenser is suitable for most liquid and oil-based cosmetic preparations such as facial oils, serums or lighter emulsions. Before final filling, we always recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging – in particular the dosing, the uniformity of application and any impact on the sealing of the dispenser.

Can I reuse the packaging for new batches of my products?

The packaging can, if hygiene principles are observed, be reused for new batches of products. Before each refilling, the medicine bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and, depending on the nature of the product, disinfected with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only then is the packaging ready for safe refilling.

How should I properly clean and prepare the bottle before first use?

Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent, followed by drinking water) and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and all parts that come into contact with the product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in accordance with your manufacturing procedures. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for filling.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the glass medicine bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be placed, after emptying and basic cleaning, into a container intended for glass, while the plastic or combined parts of the dispenser must be sorted according to the type of plastic or handed over within packaging material collection. Always follow local waste separation rules and the information about the material given with the product.
