The frosted glass bottle with a white and gold sprayer is designed for toners, hydrosols, facial mists and perfume waters that are applied by spraying in small doses. The set includes both the bottle and the sprayer, so there is no need to look for a closure with the right neck. The 30 ml volume suits samples, travel sizes and products that are used up within a few weeks.

The frosted surface of the glass visually conceals the contents, so only their silhouette is visible and the level can be estimated against the light. The white and gold glossy sprayer gives the bottle an appearance that also suits gift packaging or small-batch sales. Both the bottle and the sprayer are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products, and the declaration of conformity is available with the product.

What it is used for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – the sprayer disperses watery liquids into a mist that does not run down the face.
• Perfume waters and alcohol-based sprays – the small volume and the dose per press suit fragrances that are applied to specific spots.
• Hair and body refreshing sprays – light water-based or water-alcohol mixtures without thickeners.
• Samples and test batches – 30 ml is enough to test a formulation with customers before larger production.

Thicker emulsions, oils and mixtures with a thickener are not dispersed evenly by a mechanical fine mist sprayer. The dip tube draws them up slowly and the nozzle may clog. A bottle with a pump or a dropper is more suitable for such contents.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended for in normal filling. The brimful capacity is the physical volume up to the neck, and you will find it in the parameters. The difference provides a reserve for the sprayer dip tube, which displaces part of the contents when screwed on, and for the expansion of the liquid with temperature changes. Therefore, fill the bottle up to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

Good to know

Preparation before the first filling. Wash the bottle and the sprayer before use, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave them to dry completely. Water remains inside the sprayer after rinsing, so press the head several times with nothing in it until it stops spraying.

Glass and temperature. Pour in hot solutions only after they have cooled to room temperature. A sudden change in temperature or direct hot filling may crack the glass.

Sprayer and contents with alcohol or essential oils. The sprayer is made of polypropylene and aluminium. For perfumes with a higher proportion of alcohol and for mixtures with a higher concentration of essential oils, we recommend checking how the sprayer behaves with your specific formulation: whether it leaks, whether the nozzle doses evenly and whether the contents change their scent.

Reuse. You can refill the glass bottle repeatedly after washing and disinfecting it. The sprayer cannot be cleaned completely, so when you change the contents, for example from perfume to a facial toner, we recommend a new one.

Recycling. The bottle goes into glass recycling. Unscrew the plastic and aluminium sprayer from the bottle before disposal and sort it separately.
