Product description
A glass bottle, glossy black, with a black-and-gold atomiser and a smoke-tinted cap, is a ready-made set for filling small volumes of spray products. The glossy black glass fully conceals the contents and thus protects them from light, which accelerates the ageing of fragrances, essential oils and sensitive active ingredients. The atomiser produces a fine mist in small doses, so the set is particularly suited to perfumes, fragrance mists, toners and spray serums, where precise and economical dosing matters. The 15 ml volume makes it a practical pack for samples, travel versions and gift sets. The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetics.
What the set offers
- Protection from light – the opaque black glass lets no light reach the contents, which helps keep the product's scent and colour stable for longer.
- Fine dosing – the atomiser disperses the contents into a mist, so a single application spreads evenly over the skin or hair and the product is used up slowly.
- Chemically stable glass – the glass does not react with alcohol, essential oils or fragrance compositions and does not take on their scent, so the bottle can be reused after cleaning.
- Cohesive appearance – the black-and-gold atomiser with a smoke-tinted cap matches the black glass, so the set needs no additional decorative elements and is also suitable for selling finished products.
What the set is suitable for
The atomiser works reliably with thin liquids: alcohol-based perfumes and eau de toilette, fragrance mists for body and hair, hydrolates and toners, low-viscosity spray serums, air fresheners for the home or for textiles in small packaging. Thick serums, gels and emulsions will not pass through the nozzle or will clog it, so the set is not suitable for them. For oil-based perfumes and light oil sprays we recommend checking in advance whether the atomiser disperses the contents and does not become clogged.
Filling and volume reserve
The bottle's parameters state the nominal volume. Nominal volume is the amount the container is designed for during normal filling. Total volume is the physical space up to the neck. The difference between them is the allowance for the dip tube and sprayer mechanism, which occupy part of the space once screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If overfilled, the contents will be pushed out around the thread when closing, and the sprayer may not seal properly.
After filling, press the atomiser several times without liquid until the tube and nozzle fill with the contents. The first presses go „empty“, which is normal and not a fault of the mechanism.
Good to know
Before the first filling, wash both the bottle and the atomiser, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Residual water in the tube would dilute the first doses and in anhydrous products may cause cloudiness. With water-containing cosmetics, bear in mind that spray packaging does not replace preservation, it only limits contact of the contents with the fingers.
The atomiser is made of plastic with aluminium elements. Alcohol and most fragrance compositions do not affect it. However, with a high proportion of essential oils, terpenes or solvents, we recommend checking the seal and the behaviour of the mechanism in the specific formulation, as some ingredients can soften plastic parts over time. Let the finished product stand for several days with the atomiser pointing down and check that it does not leak.
Glass and heat – the bottle withstands normal cold filling and lukewarm solutions, but not sudden temperature changes. Do not pour hot contents into it and do not move it straight from cold to heat.
Label – the glossy black glass is smooth, a label adheres to it well, but degrease the surface before applying. You will find the bottle's dimensions in the parameters.
Closures – the set comes with a matching atomiser. You will find other closures with the same neck type and further ready-made combinations in the Handymade range. When combining your own, always check the seal and dosing with the specific formulation.
Recycling – before disposal, separate the atomiser from the bottle. Glass goes with glass, the atomiser made of plastic and metal goes with plastics according to local rules.
The set as a whole is not declared for contact with food. Only the glass bottle separately holds a food certificate; the atomiser does not. The set is intended for cosmetic products.
