The glass dropper bottle with dispenser represents a reliable packaging solution suitable for a range of liquid and semi-liquid preparations where precise and comfortable dosing is important. The brown glass helps protect sensitive compositions from undesirable light exposure, thereby supporting the stability and shelf life of the contents. This glass bottle with dispenser forms a functional combination of packaging and closure ready for immediate use when filling your own products. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify optimal performance in your specific recipes.

The glass bottle is suitable for most cosmetic preparations, including products with active ingredients or essential oils, provided they are formulated in line with common practice in cosmetics. Glass is a stable material that usually does not react with the contents, and the brown colouring helps protect sensitive components from the effects of light. For each new formulation, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test in order to verify the behaviour of the product over time.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and dispenser, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. The disinfection step helps minimise microbiological risk and supports the stability of your cosmetic products during storage and use.
The dosing performance depends on the viscosity and composition of the specific formulation. For thicker products, it may be necessary to adjust the recipe (for example, reduce the viscosity or add a suitable solvent) so that the product passes smoothly through the dispenser. Before filling the entire batch, we always recommend testing a small amount, checking the uniformity of the dose, the back-suction into the pump and any product residues on the neck of the packaging. In this way you can verify that the selected combination of packaging and product meets your requirements for comfort and dosing accuracy.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle should usually be placed in the container designated for glass, after removing any product residues. The dispenser, which is made up of several materials, should, where possible, be taken apart and the individual components sorted into the appropriate separate waste streams according to local waste collection rules. By following the recommended sorting procedures, you support efficient recycling of the packaging material.
