The glass vial represents a professional packaging solution suitable for various liquid preparations where precise and comfortable application using a dispensing system is important. The brown glass helps protect more sensitive contents from unwanted light exposure, which is especially important for products containing plant extracts, oils or active ingredients. In combination with a glossy dispenser, the bottle looks aesthetic and professional, making it suitable also for branded cosmetic and artisan products.
This packaging is designed to be practical for everyday use, to allow controlled dosing and at the same time to keep the contents in a stable environment. The glass container is resistant to common cosmetic and body care formulations, while the dispenser ensures convenient application without unnecessary contact with the remaining contents inside the bottle.
This glass bottle with dispenser forms a functional set ready for immediate use. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the selected packaging system will also work reliably with your specific product.

The parameter table also contains information necessary for correct recycling after the end of the packaging’s service life. If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to sort it according to the material indicated (for example, the glass container into the appropriate glass container and the plastic components of the dispenser into sorted plastic waste, if this is possible according to local recycling rules). In this way, you support responsible handling of packaging material.
The glass bottle is designed to be stable against common cosmetic formulations, including preparations containing plant oils and active ingredients. The brown glass helps to limit light penetration, which can be an advantage for products that are more sensitive to light. For each new formulation, however, we recommend performing your own stress compatibility test, especially at higher concentrations of acids, alcohol or other reactive components.
The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed and the material is suitable for the specific new filling. Before each refilling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely. If you are unsure about the long-term functionality of the dispenser with repeated use, regular checking of its sealing and dosing is recommended.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any dust impurities and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, it is important to allow the packaging and the dispenser to dry completely and only then proceed with filling, in order to minimise the risk of dilution or affecting your formulation by residues of the disinfectant.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material indicated in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in a glass recycling container after emptying and basic rinsing. Plastic and metal components of the dispenser should be sorted according to local rules, or separated if technically possible. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues to facilitate further processing in the recycling system.
