FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this glass bottle suitable for thicker creams, or only for more fluid products?

The construction of the dosing bottle is designed to handle thicker creamy or gel formulations as well, provided they are sufficiently homogeneous and do not contain sharp or larger solid particles. For very rich creams, we recommend preparing a small test batch to verify that dosing proceeds smoothly and without clogging of the mechanism.

How should I properly prepare the bottle before the first filling or repeated use?

The bottle can be reused provided strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then fill it with the prepared product, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.

How can I label this bottle or customise it for my brand?

The smooth glass walls are ideal for applying labels, sticker tags or professional printing. When designing the label, bear in mind that it should not extend over strongly curved parts of the bottle and that the adhesive used should be compatible with the glass and with the storage conditions (humidity, temperature, possible contact with grease). How can I safely dispose of and recycle the bottle if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend mechanically cleaning it as thoroughly as possible of product residues after emptying. The glass part of the bottle is usually sorted into a container designated for glass according to local waste-sorting rules, while the plastic or composite upper parts are sorted separately according to the material specified in the product parameters. Always follow the material designations in the parameter table and the local collection and recycling system so that the packaging is processed as environmentally responsibly as possible.
