The glass bottle with mechanical spray pump is a practical and aesthetic packaging intended for the gentle application of liquid cosmetic and hygiene preparations in the form of a mist or spray. Thanks to the high‑quality glass and precise spraying mechanism, it is suitable for packaging preparations for which even, hygienic and targeted, dosage‑controlled application in a smaller amount is important. The dark glass also helps protect more sensitive contents from undesirable light exposure.
Bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packages and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging works reliably with your specific product.

Yes, the glass packaging with spray pump can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the spray head to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. To disinfect the inner surface of the packaging and the dosing mechanism, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the container.
The bottle with spray pump is ideal for low‑viscosity liquid formulations that need to be applied as a fine mist or even spray. Typically, these are facial and body toners, hydrolats, facial refreshing sprays, textile and interior sprays, or light aqueous solutions containing plant extracts. For thicker or oil‑based products, we recommend testing in advance whether the mechanism enables smooth and reliable spraying without clogging.
Before re‑use, it is advisable first to rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable washing agent and to clean it thoroughly mechanically to remove residues of the original product. Then rinse the packaging with clean water, allow it to drain and apply a disinfection step using alcohol (e.g. isopropyl alkohol or rastlinný etanol). We recommend flushing the spray pump with a small amount of disinfectant solution by pressing the mechanism several times so that it passes through the entire dosing pathway. After complete drying of all parts, you can safely refill the container.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part can be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing of product residues, into a container intended for glass sorting. The spray pump and any plastic components should be separated from the glass and sorted according to the type of plastic, if the local waste collection system allows this. By separating the individual materials, you support more efficient waste processing and reduce the burden on the environment.
