Clear Frosted Glass Bottle, Black Spray, 30 ml

This frosted glass bottle with a black fine mist sprayer and a capacity of 30 ml is intended for water-based and alcohol-based cosmetic products applied by spraying: facial mists, hydrolates, toners, hair sprays or perfume waters. The matte surface of the glass gives the bottle a subdued look while still letting you see how much product is left inside. The sprayer releases approximately 0.14 ml per press, which is enough for a fine mist on the face or hair, spread evenly without dripping.

The set is supplied as a bottle together with a sprayer, so you only need to clean it, fill it and screw it on. The small volume suits travel sizes, samples or products with a shorter shelf life that are made in smaller batches.

What it is suitable for

• Hydrolates and facial toners – thin water-based products form a fine mist in the sprayer and are applied without your hands touching the contents.
• Facial and body mists – refreshing sprays with glycerine, aloe or water-soluble active ingredients.
• Hair sprays – light products for detangling or protecting hair, applied from a greater distance.
• Perfume waters and body sprays with an alcohol base – 30 ml is a common size for your own fragrance compositions for testing or for carrying in a handbag.
• Samples and travel sizes – the contents last several weeks of use and the bottle fits into a small toiletry bag.

The sprayer is designed for thin liquids. Thick serums, oils or emulsions spray poorly or not at all. For such products we recommend a bottle with a dropper or a pump.

Volume and filling

The nominal volume of 30 ml is the amount the bottle is intended for with normal filling. The total volume to the brim is slightly larger. The difference is a reserve for the sprayer tube, which displaces part of the contents when screwed on, and for any expansion of the product when the temperature changes. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the product will overflow through the neck when you screw on the sprayer.

Before first filling, wash the bottle and the sprayer, disinfect them with alcohol or isopropyl alcohol and let them dry completely. Water-based products are sensitive to microbial contamination, so clean packaging is as fundamental to production as the preservation of the formulation.

Good to know

Glass does not react with common cosmetic ingredients, so it is suitable for water-based, alcohol-based and oil-based contents. The sprayer is made of polypropylene, which withstands common water-based and alcohol-based formulations. For compositions with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking how the sprayer behaves with the specific formulation, especially its tightness and dispensing after longer storage.

After thorough washing and disinfection, the bottle can be reused. The sprayer can be reused as well, provided you flush it with several sprays of clean water or alcohol and the mechanism is not clogged with residues of the previous product.

After use, the glass belongs in glass waste and the sprayer with plastics. You can easily separate them by unscrewing.
